Research Assistantship

Research Assistantship (RA)

RA’s provides an opportunity for our PhD students to engage in hands-on academic and professional work experience related to their research interests and the specific research, publication and creative production done by our faculty. RAships are no longer a part of the PhD funding package.

Generally RA’s are hired by two of our journals housed at the Centre, Theatre Research in Canada (TRIC) and Modern Drama or by faculty through faculty researching funding. This income is in addition to regular student funding packages.
