The Centre for Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies was born of a merger between the former Graduate Centre for Study of Drama and the University College Drama Program on the St. George campus. We also maintain a relationship with the undergraduate drama programs at UTMississauga and UTScarborough.
On this website, you will find information on all aspects of our programs and activities—who we are and what we do—how to apply to one of our programs, or attend one of our productions, or book a theatre, or attend a lecture. No website is perfect, of course—it is certainly no replacement for human contact. Take a look, and when you have questions, send us an email or give us a call. We’ll do our best to get you what you need.
We are located in the downtown core of Canada’s largest city, the perfect place to experience and to become involved in all kinds of performance. We are a part of Canada’s largest university, with one of the best research libraries in North America and one of the finest faculties. We have three performance venues available for use by students and faculty in their creative and intellectual exploration, all supported by our technical and production staff. This is a place where you can meet some of the best scholars and artists in the world.
Thanks for visiting, and be in touch!
